Two University Systems and Their Joint Commitment

The Joint Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership (JDPEL) was the outcome of close cooperation between key individuals from the University of California and California State University, Fresno. JDPEL admitted its first 13 students in fall 1991. The program was designed specifically to train future educational leaders residing in the Central San Joaquin Valley.
